Inquiry #4: 1.) Does the 140 kip per girder end design load include the weight of the deck to be poured in step 4?
2.) Do the deck and diaphragms have be poured together such that the temporary supports are supporting the deck pour loads, or are the girders adequate to support everything once the diaphragms are poured such that the deck and diaphragm pours could be separated and the temporary supports removed prior to the deck pour?
3.) What is the lateral load requirement? Will it be the same as for falsework bents (i.e. construction, wind, min 2% DL, etc.)?

Inquiry #51: On plan sheet 143 of 152, Water Proofing On Top of Deck detail, it calls for 1" continuous neoprene strip bonded as shown. Should this be 1/8" thick? 1" thick neoprene is not very pliable and would not likely stay in place with adhesive. Plus scale wise, it looks to be about the thickness of the filter fabric.

Reference: Addendum 5 Plans, Page 2, Sheet L-1 Replacement. The call-out dimensions have been changed to reflect the new shoulder widths as seen on Sheet X-1, but the true dimensions using the 1"=50' scale still show NB and SB shoulder width of 25.5' and 13' respectively. Please provide an updated L-1 Sheet to accurately reflect the widening of both shoulders as called out on Sheet X-1 of Addendum 5.

Inquiry #58: Specification 19-6.03(6) Embankment Backfill states GRE backfill must comply with section 19-6.02B. Section19-6.02B states that the backfill must comply with the quality characteristics shown in the following table:
Plasticity index - California Test 204 - Requirement 20
pH - California Test 643 - Requirement - 5-9
Since we don't see that this information was provided on the existing soil, for the roadway excavation item for GRE embankment, are we to anticipate that the onsite soil is unsuitable for reuse as backfill for the GRE embankment? Please clarify
