Inquiry #1: Item 82 Tubular Handrail - Spec Section 83-2.08 states paint for tubular railing must comply with section 59-3. Section 59-3 references paint info for light poles but not tubular handrail. Please confirm if tubular handrail is galvanized only or galv and paint.

Response #2:Reference plan sheets 91 through 109 of 127 where tubular handrailing shown. Tubular handrailing is galvanized, per standard specification Section 83-1.02B Steel Parts and Hardware, and is not shown as painted. Please bid per the current contract documents.

Inquiry #2: Please refer to the City of LA permit contained in Information Handout and for the work referenced in the permit. Please confirm how Caltrans will administer the working days during the moratorium period noted in the permit for the work that concrete work noted in the permit.
