Inquiry #2: On plan sheet X-1 in the pavement structural sections, call out 1A has a RSC LCB, and call out 3 has a LCB (RSC). In the roadway quantities and the bid schedule there is only one item lean concrete base rapid setting. Are the RSC LCB and LCB (RCB) the same material.

Inquiry #4: The JPCP section of the Roadway Quantities on plan sheet Q-2 lists quantities for the Tapered edge sections. Station 703+77.43 to 711+63.69 has a call out for 1A which is RSC and the remaining 5 quantities have no pavement structural section call out. Which material is to be used for the JPCP tapered edge sections?

Response #2:For informational purposes, locations where shoulder structural sections are not included on the Typical Cross Sections sheets 2-11, the sections vary to the following ranges:
The inside shoulders are 0.20'-0.30' AC over 0.50' AB.
The outside AC shoulders are 0.20' to 0.50' AC over 0.50' AB.
The outside PCC shoulders are 0.95' PCC over 0.50' AC.

Response #2: Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) submittals are required for any of the materials or products specified in the table of 6-1.06 that are used on this project that meet or exceed the minimum quantity thresholds specified in the table footnotes. Go to the METS website for product category rules that govern the development of EPDs for each applicable material or product. Where material or product suppliers do not already have facility-specific material or product EPDs, program operators can be contacted for additional information on development of EPDs. A Schedule of Values submittal for required EPD submittals is due within 15 days after Contract approval.

Inquiry #9: Plan Sheet No 43 (CS-1) is calling for 2- Type M (laminated) post . The plans do not specify the length of the post required and no details of length in the special provision. Need length of post in order to quote correctly.
