Response:
Refer to section 19-3 “Structure Excavation and Backfill” of the Standard Specifications and the Special Provisions for earthwork. Refer to section 72-2 “Rock Slope Protection” of the Standard Specifications for the new RSP requirements.

Response:
No, the Department does not have information on the existing RSP.
RFI #3. Is existing onsite rock reusable for new rock slope placement?
Response:
Per the 3rd paragraph of section 6-1.01 of the Standard Specifications, “Material incorporated into the work must be new.” Please bid under the current contract bid documents.
RFI #4. Please provide a rock gradation table/chart.

Inquiry #2: Sheet 5 of 11, Section A-A shows drill & bond #5 bar into top of existing footing at 12" o.c. each way. Do these holes occur adjacent to the new 36" CIDH piles only or are they to be drilled the entire 68' length of the existing footing?
