Inquiry #1: Our surety does not utilize electronic bid bonds. I do not see an area to upload the bid bond. Does the original bid bond need to be mailed before the bid date of December 16, at 2? If yes were should it be mailed to?

Inquiry #4: Cementitious Pipeliner at Location #1 says that a minimum of 3.5" CR 9,000 needs to be used. Design calculations show that the minimum of 1" at all other locations is more than sufficient. Can the requirement at this location be reduced to match the others? Also, can we utilize a cementitious pipeliner product other than CR 9,000 at this location provided it is on the AML?

Response #1:Q. Cementitious Pipeliner at Location #1 says that a minimum of 3.5" CR 9,000 needs to be used. Design calculations show that the minimum of 1" at all other locations is more than sufficient. Can the requirement at this location be reduced to match the others?

A. The recommended thickness is at least 2" minimum for the peak flow rate.

Q. Also, can we utilize a cementitious pipeliner product other than CR 9,000 at this location provided it is on the AML?

A. Yes you may utilize a different cementitious pipeliner product as long as it is included within the Authorized Material List(AML).
