Q-2: Yes. Closures are Route Specific. Attention is directed to the contract plans at Location No. 2 which is a complete closure with k-rail.

Inquiry #2: Section 14-6.10 of the Special Provisions requires a Bird Exclusion plan, implementation and daily monitoring for maintenance. There doesn't appear to be a Bid Items for these activities. How will they be paid?

Inquiry #3: 1. Please confirm on this project that at location number 2 the old route 88, that there is no bridge work , ie polyester overlay, bridge rail to remove and rebuild ect. the plans indicate for a closure on sheet TH-2, but there are no plan sheets to indicate rebuilding anything on the structure. I assume that the contractor is just closing the old route 88..

Inquiry #7: Section 2-1.06B of the Special Provisions indicates that as-built drawings are "Available as specified in the Standard Specifications". Standard Specifications Section 2-1.06B provides (916) 227-8357 as the fax number for requesting the as-built drawings. For the past several days, when attempting the fax number provided, an automated message is received stating "This number is not in use". Is there an alternative fax number that should be used?

Inquiry #8: Most of the existing guardrail removal looks to be steel posts and blocks. Therefore the Treated Wood Waste Item seems to be grossly overstated. Please adjust via addendum so we can accurately bid this Hazardous Waste Disposal with the new specifications required.
