Submit new inquiry for this projectInquiry #1: Traditionally, for Bonded Wearing Course projects, a Bid Item for ASPHALTIC EMULSION (BONDED WEARING COURSE) is created and paid for by the TN of liquid used and QC Tested. This existing schedule of values seems to have overlooked that bid item needed to be included. Can you review and issue an addendum with this bid item added at approximately 150 TNs or whatever the engineer determines is the appropriate quantity?
Also, I don't believe that a bid item for TACK COAT is needed due to the bonded wearing course application of the RHMA-G (BWC). The existing bid item 27 for Tack Coat should be deleted.

Inquiry #2: The existing IP Data (ProVAL) provided in section 2 of the special provisions and available for download online only has the ramps located at Birch Road and Rte 125. The balance of the ramps at Olympic, Otay Lakes and East H are missing. Please issue an addendum to address and upload the remaining ProVAL files to the Caltrans website. Bid Item 22 - Full Width Segment Correction requires that all the remaining files be reviewed in order to provide an accurate price.
