Inquiry #4: 1. Plan Sheet EQ-2 calls for items not indicated on the plans. For example, sheet EQ-2, Modifying Signal and Lighting system Quantities table, E-35 calls for (10) 12” RYG VEH Signal head, (2) 12” Left Arrow Veh Signal Heads. This continues to the (8) Accessible Pedestrian Signal Heads. When Referencing E-35, all locations are drawn with a hatched line indicating Existing per Cal-trans 2023 standard plans ES-1B.
When Referencing E-36 Standard & equipment schedule, its not entirely clear if the Vehicle signals are being replaced or if it’s just the cameras and the Bronze type MAS. Please confirm if the signal heads are to be replaced and reference a replacement detail for all Electrical sheets.

2. Similarly Sheets E1-E37 Show Existing vehicle detectors. Please confirm that these loops are all to remain and they will only need DLC cable to Existing Junction boxes. Please confirm that we are to splice to Existing loop system in these handholes, and that each are labeled clearly.

3. Plans make little references to standard plans, specs, and revised standard plans. Ed-3 is the only installation Detail for the Camera installation. Please confirm there are no standard plans or revised plans associated with this scope of work.

4. E1 & E2 show replacement of 500 CMS to a 700 CMS. There are no references to the installation plans & specifications or revised plans & specifications for this work. Please advise.
