Inquiry #2: According to Detail A on plan sheet X-1, the Replacement AC Surfacing after the 0.20' Cold Plane is shown for Structural Section P-3 or P-4.
We respectfully request that this detail be revised to show the Replacement AC Surfacing starting from the existing pavement elevation, rather than after 0.20' Cold Plane. This is necessary to avoid creating a 0.20' drop-off at the transition.

Inquiry #3: Under the legend on plan sheet L-1, it is shown that the existing textured concrete pavement is to be protected in place. Based on the cross-sections for this project, from station 632+75 to 635+45, it appears that most if not all of the textured concrete pavement will have to be removed. The cross sections even show a cut to FG below the existing top to the existing textured concrete pavement in cold plan areas.

Please clarify.

Inquiry #8: Regarding addendum number 1 and assuming the States expectations that the full structural sections are to be replaced each night per the lane closure charts K1, K2, and K3 for all reconstruction sections (21+05 - 38+04, 270+20 - 299+15, & 615+74 - 635+45) and the fact that the lane closure charts K1, K2, & K3 only allow one closure at a time for the entire project, the project working days are substantially understated.

Will the State revise the working days based on the States expectation that "traffic on unpaved surfaces is not anticipated"?
