Submit new inquiry for this projectInquiry #1: Pertaining to drainage systems 28.78C, 29.06D, and 29.12D which call out GT3 inlets in the plans, but according to details shown in the 2023 Standard Plans D73D the plan heights may be too short for the use of GT3 inlets for these drainage systems. Accounting for the diameter of the culvert opening, the structural section between the top of the pipe opening and the top of the precast box section, and accounting for the required separate top section for final grade adjustment; the required 12” minimum below the required W6x20 beam that sits below the 24-12x grates there isn’t enough space in the plan heights to follow section D-D on 2023 Standard Plan D73D. Please advise.

Inquiry #2: For the headwalls at drainage systems 27.31C and 28.18C, the plans show a keyway in the Headwall footing. The 2023 standard plans does not show a key way for straight headwalls. If a keyway is required, can Caltrans provide a detail showing the dimensions?

Inquiry #4: Drainage System 28.90 appears to have no quantity for 44.9' pipe being installed under the roadway. Instead, this quantity of pipe is under the overside drain quantity. Is it Caltrans intent to pay the Quantity under the roadway in the overside drain quantity?
