Submit new inquiry for this projectInquiry #1: Bid item #0126 - 16' Chain Link Gate calls for 3 gates. We only find two (2 ea.) 16' wide gates and not the three as stated in the Bid Item Number. We did find two (2 ea.) of the 18' gates instead of the one (1 ea.) that is stated in the bid item. Looking at the Gate Quantiles on the Q-4 Summary of Quantities , the gate at "A1" 146+78.41 is called out as a 16' gate , but on plan sheet C-39 sheet, sheet number 79, it is called out as an 18' wide gate.
Please clarify if the gate shown at "A1" 146+78.41 is a 16' wide or a 18' wide gate. If the quantities for either gate changes, it may require a new Bid Item Schedule will be needed.

We need clarification on Bid item #84 - Chain Link Fence (TYPE CL-3, Vinyl-Clad) (MOD) fencing. We know the chain link fabric is PVC vinyl coated chain link fabric. We need to know if the posts and framework are also vinyl coated material or are they to be powder coated and not vinyl coated material like the chain link fabric. Please clarify.

Response #2:(BI#14)-Item 0039 (bid item 131201) temporary creek diversion systems is not shown on the plans. Per 401 permit requirements attached in the Information handout, Caltrans Standard Specifications should be followed.
The stormwater professional QSD for the contractor is responsible for determining location and timing for implementation of temporary creek diversion system.
Attention is directed to special provisions 13-12, which includes specifications for constructing, maintaining, reconstructing, and removing temporary creek diversion system.
