Inquiry #2: Bid item 0199 Meal Barrier Monted Sign should have a quantity of 810 lbs.
Sheet 283 has quantity of 270lbs for sign 2-7.
Sheet 269 has quantity of 270lbs, but there are 2 signs for retaining wall 201,
Sign 1-19 & 1-21 @ 270lbs each, which would be 540lbs.

This obviously cannot be true since concrete retaining wall # 202 is much shorter in height and length. Inquiry #15: CalTrans standards indicate a wide flange girder has a top flange width of 4'-0" and web width of 6 1/2" for the typical section and end block web width of 2'-6" (see wide flange details at https://dot.ca.gov/programs/engineering-services/manuals/bridge-standard-details ). The specified top flange and typical web width (4'-1 1/2" and 8", respectively) is achievable but necessitates that the end block web width be 2'-7 1/2". Please confirm this is acceptable.
