Inquiry #43: Response to inquiry #9 is entirely inadequate. There is a CalTrans precedence to provide Contractors (at bid time) with the anticipated creek flows (CFS), not the other way around as suggested in CalTrans' current response. Obviously CalTrans design would be privy to the hydrology of the creek, not Contractors. Please revise response and provide Contractors with anticipated creek flows so Contractor can anticipate and price the Temp Creek Diversions.

Inquiry #67: Kings Creek Slope Paving Drawing (Sht 20 of 25) is ill-conceived. The drawing is not to scale ... and that's likely purposeful ... because in reality, we're being asked to build this paving pad with stacked river rocks on a 1:1 slope (45 degrees). 8" cobbles will not stack that easily and stay in place ... furthermore trying to form nice neat curb edges as shown is not going to happen on a 45 deg slope. Is there any reason design can't put a downdrain (thru the wingwall) here instead?
