Inquiry #1: In Irrigation details ID-6 says 6T valve box and pull boxes and steel cover but specs section 20-2.01B (7) says valve boxes must be polymer concrete. Also says valve box cover with locking device and key locking device must be manufactured to match keys currently used by Caltrans, District 6 Maintenance Division. Please advise whether we use concrete Valve box with lock jaw lid or polymer concrete valve boxes and pull boxes.

Inquiry #2: In Irrigation Plan IP-3 sheet shows ICC 377- 48 stations 19 stations used but Irrigation Quantities IQ-1 sheet shows Existing ICC 337. Is this the same controller station number 377 and 337?

Inquiry #3: Is the contractor to use the lateral pipe size chart sheet ISS-1 to take off the total amount of lateral line sizes quantities per gallons per minute? If so, the chart on ISS-1 doesn’t match with the irrigation quantity table IQ-1 and different pipe sizes are shown. Please advise.
