Inquiry #1: We would like to request that classification C-32 be added to the allowed bidders classifications. When looking at historical cost data, it is apparent that the striping items will constitute a majority of the work for this advertised project.

Inquiry #2: Due to the nature of the work being performed, the 1 mile closure per Section 12-4.02C (7)(a) will impede production and require multiple resetting of Lane Closures, affecting the Public and Traffic Safety.
Will Caltrans consider expanding the Closure limits to 2 miles, to lessen this impact?

Inquiry #3: We would like to clarify in Section 84-6.01C(1) , that the Department is requiring the Contractor to supply the warranty for the tape material. Historically, this has been provided by the manufacturer, along with their warranty bond.
