Inquiry #1: Could the department please provide a more detailed breakdown of the RHMA paving and LCB-RS work shown on summary of quantities sheet Q-6? Given that there are no layout sheets provided, it is difficult to determine the locations of work. Whether this work is spread out over the entire project or concentrated to a particular area will greatly effect the unit pricing for the various items involved. Thank you.

Inquiry #2: Summary of quantities sheet Q-1 indicates individual slabs to be replaced in the number 5 and 6 lanes on EB 10 from 22.3 to 23.9. The applicable lane closure tables (D, E, and F) do not provide closures for working in the 5 and/or 6 lanes in this area. Please advise when this work is to be performed.

Inquiry #8: Since there are no Layout pages provided for this project we are forced to bid off the Quantities given and typicals provided. When looking at plan sheet Q-1, Summary of Quantities, it shows between post mile 22.3 to 23.9 that we are doing work in Lanes 3-6. However, when we look at the typical on plan sheet X-1 it shows that between post miles 21.5-28.0 there are 4 lanes, 1 Aux Lane and 2 HOV lanes. Can you please clarify which lanes we will be working on between post mile 22.3-23.9 so we can better understand the traffic control.
Inquiry submitted 02/21/2023

Response #1:Summary of Quantities Sheet (Q-1) is for Relace Concrete Pavement, which is clearly listed Post mile limit and lane number. Please Bid per contract documents.

Will the department pay for each vehicle individually? (Example: if work areas are spaced out such that six impact attenuators are needed for one night, will the department pay for six nights or one?)
