Response posted 03/03/2023

Inquiry #45: After review of Addendum #5, we are still showing a significant difference in the Hot Mix Asphalt Type A quantity. In reference to the Summary of Quantity Tables it looks like the discrepancy stems from the volume of HMA-A that is being accounted for Pavement Structure Section 4 – 0.25’ HMA-A on the ramp shoulders. We believe it is this quantity that is significantly undervalued in the quantity of summary table thus making the bid item quantity much lower than what we believe will be reflected on the project according to what is proposed in the layout plans.

Response #1:Please bid per contract documents.
Response posted 03/03/2023
