Inquiry #3: After trying to locate all drainage locations and determine their difficulty, we were unable to locate the following Drainage Locations 1,2,6,7,8,9, and 12. Can you please have maintenance or design provide accurate locations with orange staking as to exact location of these drainages so that we can provide an accurate bid? There are no postmile markers on these drainages or on the freeway. Can the bid date be extended for this to happen as I know these would have to be scheduled.

Response #2:Plan sheet 1 shows the locations of the project while the drainage plans show the drainage system number. These are two different things. For example, location 13 is where drainage system 12 is located.

Inquiry #7: Per the lane closure charts G1 and G2 for this project it states no work is allowed between 0600 to 0900 and 1500 to 1900, are these hours for lane closures only? Or can we work behind the k-rail during these hours as long as we are not impeding traffic, please clarify.

Inquiry #11: Drainage system No. 4 calls out for 68 LF of Trenchless 42" CSP, CSP cannot be jacked through the earth due to wall thickness and strength, was your intention to have this pipe be installed through a pipe casing left in place?
Can RCP be used for this location as an alternative pipe? Please Clarify

Inquiry #12: In response to your response on inquiry #3, is Design going to be able to provide physical field markings (orange staking) before bid time so that we may physically look at these locations and be able to prepare an accurate bid based on current field conditions instead of a list and postmiles, when the respective postmiles markers are missing in the field.
Will you be coming out with an addendum providing this information and postponing the bid date so that we can properly locate these facilities?

Inquiry #13: In response to your response to inquiry #5, if you are saying that location 13 is where drainage system 12 is located, then what drainage system is located where you have location 12 plotted on page 1 of the plans? Isn't there one to many drainages plotted on plan sheet 1?
