Inquiry #2: Special Provisions Section 14-6.03A and 14-6.03D(1) specifies the Caltrans biologist will survey for nesting birds and monitor nests. However, the Monitoring Schedule indicates Nesting Birds monitoring schedule is determined by the Contractor-Supplied biologist. Are nesting bird surveys and nest monitoring required for the Contractor-Supplied biologist or the Caltrans biologist?
