Inquiry #8: Please clarify quantities for items 33: HMA, 39: REM AC PAVEMENT and 42: JCPC(RSC). It appears that the quantity totals shown for these items per Roadway Quantities table have added Curb Ramp totals twice. These totals are shown per Sheet Number breakdown and re-added as carry-over from Curb Ramp Quantities chart. This would affect bid item quantities. Please review.

Inquiry #9: Bid Item 56: Install Multiduct 24" Depth Microtrench Method. Bid item shows a quantity of 71,000 lf. The actual microtrench segment appears to be more like 35,500 LF. Please clarify.

Microtrench HDPE Microducts will be installed in Joint Trench.

Please verify bid item quantities regarding - Bid Item 58: Install Multiducts Horizontal Directional Drill Method they appear doubled here as well.

Inquiry #10: Microtrenching operations and its equipment only offer a trench cut at Max width no wider than 2" wide and a Depth of 25.5"

Will Caltrans allow the 2 multiducts to be stacked on top of each other. If so, as both multiducts are stacked on top of each other it will not allow minimum 24" cover noted per detail MMED-2. Will Caltrans allow 21.78" inches minimum cover on top of doubled stacked multiducts.
