Inquiry #2: Why do the plans call for all the locations to get temporary markings? couldn't all the locations just be put in permanent thermoplastic? and the temporary marking quantity is higher then the permanent marking quantity it doesn't make sense please clarify thank you!

Inquiry #4: Regarding the Countdown Ped Signal Heads - Does Caltrans only want the LED Module replaced? Or does Caltrans want the ped housing replaced as well? If so, will the framework be re-used or do you want new framework? If you want new framework, please provide counts and type. I.E. SP-1-T, SP-2-T, TP-2-T? ETC.

Inquiry #6: The Quantities of Pushbuttons on LC-1, PDQ-1 through PDQ-3 differ from the quantities on EQ-1. The Locations are also different. What Quantities are we to use for the total amount of pushbuttons and Pedestrian signal heads per location?

Inquiry #7: The Location descriptions differ from one sheet to another. Sheet LC-1 states Location No. 1 is "NB ON-RAMP FROM VIA S YSIDRO". Sheet E-1 states Location No. 1 is "SB ON-RAMP FROM CAMINO DE LA PLAZA". Which is correct?

Inquiry #8: Sheets LC-1 and EQ-1 have differing quantities of APS pushbuttons per location. For example, LC-1 Location #4 shows no APS pushbuttons. But, Sheet EQ-1 says Location #4 has 2 Pushbuttons and 2 Ped signal heads. There are many more examples as you go to each location on these sheets. Which sheet is the contractor suppose to use for bidding purposes?

Inquiry #9: On Sheet EQ-1, the total summation of quantities for the APS with left arrow signs and right arrow signs are wrong as shown. When adding up the quantities, we come up with 71 ea. with left arrows, not 78 as shown. We come up with 65 ea. with right arrows, not 74 as shown. The total is 140 each, not 154 ea. Which is correct?
