Inquiry #1: If Prime elects to add a sub-contractor after bid time for less than $10,000.00 will this be allowed per the mentioned below:
Public Cont. Code §4104(a)(1) & (b) therefore require that prime contractor bidders on public jobs list in their bid the name and the “portion of the work” to be performed by any subcontractor in an amount in excess of $10,000 or more than .5% of the total bid price, whichever is greater.”

Response #2:If the added subcontractor will be performing work under the bid threshold (1/2 of 1 percent of the total bid or $10,000, whichever is greater) it would be allowed, as the subcontractor would not have been required to be listed on the Subcontractor List form at time of bid.

Inquiry #3: Good afternoon. on sheet PDD-1 the detail 42 is showing 8" tape with 4" contrast. is the 4" contrast correct? shouldn't the contrast be 2"?

Inquiry #4: My question is about Traffic Stripe Tape Detail 42 Mod - plan sheet PDD-1. It shows that Detail 42 Mod is 8" white traffic stripe tape warranty with 4" black contrast striping. My question is, is it a 4" black contrast on each side of the 8" white traffic stripe then the total width will be 16"? or it is 2" black contrast on each side of the 8" white traffic stripe and then the total width of the stripe will be 12"? Please verify. Thank you.

Inquiry #5: Good morning on sheet PDD-1 the striping detail for detail 42 mod shows 8" tape with 4" contrast on both sides. i talked to one of the main tape manufactors they dont make tape with 4" contrast is this detail correct?
