Inquiry #5: Per plan page LL-6, the total rock stain is 21,935 SF. However, per the summary total on plan page PQ-1, the page total is 21,327 SF. Can Caltrans clarify the total rock staining on the project?

Inquiry #6: Referring to the license requirement, "The Contractor must have either a Class A license or any combination of the following Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work: C-8, C-27". Will a contractor be able to submit a bid with just a C-8 license? Or will both a C-8 and C-27 license be required?

Response #1:Removed contaminated soil will be replaced with the bid item for the location. Stain can be sprayed. Temp k-rail may be needed if the location is left open and unsafe.
